David Chávez is a cinematographer with a strong foundation in camera and color workflows, shaped by extensive experience across high-end productions in Mexico and Latin America. His background as a DIT and color workflow designer has allowed him to develop a deep technical understanding of the image pipeline, from capture to final delivery, bringing a level of precision and control that directly informs his work as a director of photography.

Having collaborated on some of the region’s most demanding projects, David has worked closely with leading cinematographers, production teams, and post-production departments, gaining a comprehensive perspective on how images are not only created, but also finished and delivered under the highest industry standards. This experience positions him with a distinct advantage as a cinematographer — one that bridges creative intent with technical execution at every stage of the process.
