His experience extends beyond on-set operations, encompassing deep knowledge of color grading, post workflows, and image finishing, positioning him as a reliable and integral part of high-end productions.

He has collaborated on projects for some of the world’s leading platforms, working within demanding environments where precision, consistency, and efficiency are critical. This experience has shaped a workflow-driven approach that ensures the integrity of the image is maintained across every stage of the process.

As both a DIT and colorist, Chávez combines technical expertise with a strong creative sensibility. His work is not limited to image management — he actively contributes to the visual development of each project, using color grading as a tool to enhance and elevate the cinematographer’s intent. His approach is grounded in a balance between sensitivity, aesthetics, and technical accuracy.
